POEM "SCHOOL BELLS ARE RINGING"
School bells are ringing loud and clear;
Vacation's over, school is here.
We hunt our pencils and our books
And say goodbye to fields and brooks,
To carefree days of sunny hours,
To birds and butterflies and flowers.
But we are glad school has begun,
For work is always mixed with fun.
When autumn comes and the weather is cool,
Nothing can take the place of school.
POEM "WELCOME TO OUR CLASSROOM"
Welcome to our classroom!
Come in and sit right down.
We are all together -
Take a look around.
Here inside our classroom
There's lots to see and do.
I am happy being here
And making friends with you!
THE SCHOOL RULE
Mind the clock and keep the rule:
Try to come in time to school!
HELLO, SUMMER (A LAST DAY OF SCHOOL)
You can find me at the beach
Or in the park or at the pool
Or any place that isn't school.
Hello, days packed full of sports
And days when I'm just lazybones
While eating melty ice cream cones.
There's so-so much I wanna do.
I know the school year flew on past
But please, please, summer, last and last!
